History

King's Kids International began in 1976 in Hawaii under the leadership of Dale and Carol Kauffman. Since then, hundreds of teams have ministered throughout Asia, the Pacific, the Americas, Western and Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East. King's Kids teams have reached out to serve the poor and have impacted the wealthy. They have proclaimed God's love in a wide variety of national and international outreaches and events.

How and When it began in Nepal?

In the year 1994 a school called PCYM (Principles in Child and Youth Ministries) was held in Gurgaon, India. Sashi Hingmang from Mirik, India was doing that school and after the school she and her friends Lone Ibsen, Chonmei and Hekkali came on outreach to Nepal.

Later Lone, Chonmei and Hekkali left and Sashi continued the ministry in Pokhara, Nepal giving kids and parents from the local church opportunities to serve God and His people in several places in Kaski, Kathmandu and Gorkha Districts in Nepal and in Darjeeling,  Kalimpong, Siliguri and Sikkim in North East India and also in some cities in Bhutan too.

Now this ministry is being operated in several places in India and in Nepal sharing the love of God to the poor and needy children who lives on the streets, slums and also it is educating parents, teachers and youths towards educating the society.
